Privacy
A deliberately minimal privacy footprint.
TrialConnect is designed to avoid collecting unnecessary personal data. The search interface runs in the browser and queries ClinicalTrials.gov directly.
No accounts
TrialConnect does not require user accounts, passwords, or profiles.
No cookies banner by default
TrialConnect does not intentionally set tracking cookies for the core search experience. If hosting or analytics tooling changes in future, this page should be updated accordingly.
How search works
Search criteria entered into TrialConnect are sent from the browser to the ClinicalTrials.gov API to fetch trial records. TrialConnect itself does not store those searches on a server.
Third-party services
ClinicalTrials.gov is a third-party service and may process request metadata according to its own policies. Email links or mail client handoff from the contact page may also involve third-party providers chosen by the user.
Data retention
TrialConnect does not intentionally retain submitted search data. If users choose to contact TrialConnect by email, standard email retention may apply within the recipient mailbox.
Your rights
Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018, you have the right to request access to, rectification of, or erasure of any personal data TrialConnect holds about you. Because TrialConnect is designed to minimise data collection, most interactions leave no personal data trail. For any enquiries, contact hello@TrialConnect.dev.
